I made a new website for my church and was searching for its internet listings to see where the url needed updating. On my journey, I was led to AboutUs.org. It was great to see that the church's site was already listed, and even better to think of ways that the listing could be helpful. Upon further checking, I found my own four sites were also listed. I'm afraid my ego came out, which is not great since I've been studying on how to be more humble as a Christian. Life is just one test after another.
I have been improving the listings of all my sites, after seeing some great examles in the Featured Wiki Pages.
My home is in Southern California, near the beach. We have almost perfect weather all year long, except in June. They call it June Gloom here since the days stay overcast with fog.
My church's site is:
- ChurchOfChrist-PortHueneme.com This one is self explanatory.
My sites are:
- LaceToLeather.com This consists of a variety of topics from "lace to leather" (which is Victorian lace and leather leashes for dog training - I've heard lots of comments with other ideas since its inception about nine years ago). The most popular section is Safe Natural Cures, followed by Dog Tricks, Tips & Insights.
- SafeNaturalTips.com These are tips on lots of subjects - to save money, do it yourself, and be more environmentally friendly. (This is a relatively new offshoot from the Safe Natural Cures section of LaceToLeather.com.) Inside is lots of stuff your mother would have told you before you left home but you were more interested in your friends by that time.
- GodTellsUs.com This one is my personal way to spread the Gospel.
- RainbowRidersTradingPost.com And, this one is for insulator collectors. The Rainbow Riders' Trading Post began as a snail-mail magazine that I published for five years, which was put on hold when the grandkids moved in. (They're still here, by the way.)
