- This morning we registered Big Girl for kindergarten. It’s been an exciting morning so far. We hiked out to the elementary school through the ice and snow (a LOT of ice, especially at 7AM), where we were surprised to find…no lines. At all. Apparently our choices for “tracks” (currently, we’re on a 12 month calendar) will be entered into a lottery, and we’ll find out for sure when/what time she’ll be going by mid-April. School begins sometime between July 9 and August 1.
