Best of the Web Directory
Founded in 1994 at the University of Buffalo, Best of the Web has been a pioneer in recognizing the best sites online. From the initial concept of Web Awards, the website has transformed into a directory spotlighting the web's premier destinations.
Best of the Web's team of editors reviews every website listed in the directory in order to make sure that they're listed in the most relevant categories. BOTW.org also allows website owners to submit their own websites for review. However, only non-commercial websites can qualify for free review. Commercial website have to pay a one time fee or an annual subscription fee in order to be listed.
Some of the most important BOTW offerings include BOTW Blog Directory, Enterprise Software Directory, Senior Housing Directory and much more. It also offers BOTW Local, a directory offering listings for millions of businesses in the US. Users are also allowed to submit reviews as well as vote for businesses in this directory.
