Scott Catledge (frustrated) : I purchased your pathetic Place-Names of Scotland. Your inaccurate excuse (the book is not rare even though the 2d. ed. is less common than the 3rd) is not available until the book is bought; A1Books will not respond; Alibris wants me to pay for returning a book sold under false pretenses. I have since purchased a VG copy of the 3rd ed. for less than I paid for yours. I shall alert the members on my numerous e-lists of the folly of dealing with A1Books and Alibris and of the poor quality of Kessinger Reprints. I shall wait until Thursday in the faint hope that you are a reputable firm and not a rip-off. 20:26, 18 October 2008 (PDT)
