I am a Jamaican and I now live in London, England, where I live with my disabled son and help to take care of him, as also my older brother who suffers from Dementia.
I was Christened as a baby as Enid Gloria Grant. I always disliked the name "Enid" because of the person my mother named me after. I am now called "Anna". I believe God gave me that name even before I became a Christian. I will tell you how it came about. I have two beautiful nieces whom I love as I would if they were my own daughters. When they were little girls, 6 and 4 years old, they used to spend Saturdays with me. What fun we had. I am a child at heart, you see, (and at 82 years old I guess I still am). They said to me, "Aunt Enid, you are more like a sister to us than an Aunt. Could we call you by your first name and drop the "Aunt"?" Due to my upbringing I told them that would not do. They looked so disappointed, that I relented and met them halfway. I told them to bring me a list of names, such as "Tante" "Nana", and I would choose one. They brought it, and as I looked down the list, "ANNA" jumped out at me. They loved it too and from that day I am Anna to them. They are now grown up, married and I have two lovely grandnieces and one grandnephew. Sometimes they tease me by calling me "Anna Banana" or just plain "Banana". I don't mind at all. Now family and friends call me "Anna".
But that is not the end of it. After I became a born-again Christian, I began to move in the prophetic gift, and many prophetic words brought about me declared that I am like Anna, the prophetess in the Bible, and I would taberbacle with the Lord in prayer looking for the comming again of the Lord Jesus.
I love to write and have written quite a few things - children's stories, and thoughts from my Christian walk that I believe the Lord has given to me. May I place them on this page? I have been looking for a way to expose them to the wider body and receive comments.
I would also like to say that I have been privileged to sit under Ian McCormack's ministry, the first time to hear his testimony. He has prayed for me twice, the last time at Commonwealth Church, Mayfair, London, December 2007.
I am not all that good with computers and web sites, therefore please forgive me if I don't do things right. I need guidance.
God bless this website and the ministry of Ian McCormack, and may God continue to bless him and his family.

"Sincerely in Jesus,

Anna
Sincerely
