- We are a family owned company and got into the septic business after we had to install one for ourselves. I grew up with dirt and toolboxes, growing up with a grain farm there is no other choice. I guess I just took a liking to digging in the dirt more so than plowing it. We (my father Mike, my wife Donna and myself, Lee) were what you may call weekend warriors in the excavation business until 1994 when my wife and I quit our jobs and went for broke, we have never looked back. My father is retired now so my wife and I keep the business moving.
