Requirements to work with one of our tutoring services:
- -Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
- -Be an intelligent, educated, dynamic, and honest person with the ability to help students learn in an efficient and effective manner
- -Communicate clearly and utilize the appropriate choice of words when speaking with the student, parent, teacher, and company
- -Have a positive attitude and the ability to relate to students, parents and teachers
- -Have patience to deal with students of different learning styles
- -Know when to be authoritive and when to be compassionate
- -Be punctual to scheduled meeting and at returning messages
- -Have reliable/private transportation to commute to the student
- -Have access to a computer and the internet to know when services are requested and to log tutoring sessions when provided
- -Be legally able to work in the United States and agree to a background check
- -Never have been convicted of a major felony, burglary, violent or sexual crime
- -Do not steal/poach any of our students! The customer pays us for the service, then we pay the tutor for providing that service.
- -Agree to our TUTOR TERMS OF SERVICE Agreement

Our history goes back a full ten years to the late 1990's when our founder began privately tutoring math students at San Diego State University. After many years in San Diego, he moved to Las Vegas and continued providing home tutoring for math, chemistry and physics students. What began as a sideline source of income soon turned into full time work, and eventually his schedule was so full he had to refer students to friends who also tutored mathematics. In 2003 he turned it into a business and launched AwesomeTutors.com to provide home tutoring for a wide variety of K-12 subjects. The following year we became 2trs.com, LLC and today we continue to provide the same high quality tutoring services for most all academic subjects and grade levels. All tutors are still personally evaluated, skills tested, and have been subjected to a background check. We pride ourselves on personal service, good business ethics, and most importantly, a quality education for our students.
Studying a difficult subject can be stressful enough as it is, whether you are a student or a parent, and we're here to support your educational goals in the most convenient, comfortable and effective manner possible. We provide one-on-one tutors for in-home tutoring, coming to meet you whenever and wherever is best for you while also saving you time, gas money, and the hassle of coordinating transportation for non-drivers. Payments are securely handled by PayPal, an international leader in online financial transactions, utilizing multiple layers of encryption to protect the sensitive data of our customers. We will never sell or release your personal information to anyone other than the assigned tutor that you choose.
