- So I went over to SS’s parents and hooked up the new Dell that I ordered for them last week. This was my first look at Vista. I have to say it is very pretty. I really like the Aero Glass interface effects and the window animations are kinda neat. Overall, however, I just don’t see much else in it that makes me want it. The performance doesn’t seem to be all that much improved and there aren’t any new features that would draw me to it.
