The "King of Dot-Comedy" has put himself in the face of danger countless times in order to report on the hilarious things that happen when you kiss Bill Gates on the nipple, forge your credit card receipts, physically attack Jerry Springer, spend a week eating nothing but Olestra potato chips, or take Viagra in church. Despite various run-ins with the police, he has only been arrested once (long story).
Originally raised a devout Christian -- he spent a year in college travelling as a singing missionary -- Mr. Hargrave majored in multimedia performance at Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he faked his own death as part of his senior thesis. (He was briefly suspended from the school, but ultimately allowed to graduate.) He later obtained his MBA from Babson College, ranked #1 in the country for high-tech entrepreneurship, where he was definitely funnier than most of his classmates. He currently serves as Creative Director at Arnold Worldwide, Boston's premiere advertising agency.
From 1999-2001, he hosted the award-winning technology comedy show Computer Stew, which the Boston Globe called "original and inspired," and Entertainment Weekly praised as "innovative." Mr. Hargrave also served as executive producer for nearly 400 episodes of the show. Collections of Computer Stew can usually be found with a Google search.
