With this sentence began an article of the first Bulletin I edited in 1996. You can hardly believe that only six years ago the Internet was an "unknown world" to most people, and that a homepage for individuals and even most clubs was an unknown entity. Only a handful of people signed up to exchange club information via a homepage or e-mail address.
I had already built a web page for our Round Dance Club, originally as practice for future pages I had to build at work. When I took over the job of bulletin Editor there soon followed the question of whether or not a similar undertaking should be made for Square Dancing and its governing body. The EAASDC Board was in favour, and so bit by bit was developed what is now accessible around the world under "eaasdc.de". A glance at the club data bank shows that decision was the right one, for today we have about 500 EAASDC member clubs, and of these 370 have a home page, and 470 are at least reachable via e-mail.

Here we just publish certain articles which seem to be of interest for a longer period of time. A search function makes it easier to find them.
