Pacific Northwest, Cascadia, and Salmon Nation are different terms for the same general region -- the Northwest part of the North American continent. This region typically is defined as including the Canadian province of British Columbia, and the US states of Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Northern California.
