Goodleberg Cemetery is a small (less than a half acre) cemetery located on a narrow dead end road in the Town of Wales, NY. For decades, the site has been trampled, vandalized and destroyed by ghost hunters, spiritualists, partiers, and other disrespectful people looking for the cheap thrill of getting spooked by the wild animals that roam the countryside.

In late 2007, the residents and property owners marched on the Town Board and local law enforcement and succeeded in implementing strict regulations that now allow law enforcement to charge all visitors to the site after 6:00 p.m. Steps were also taken to assure that anyone found on privately owned properties (at any time) would be charged, fined, and possibly imprisoned.

In response to the new regulations, self-proclaimed "Paranormal Investigation Groups" stated that they had a legal right to visit the site. Unfortunately for the efforts of Paranormal interest groups, the Wales Town Board, Erie County Sheriff, and New York State police did not agree.

To date in 2007, dozens of individuals have been convicted of illegal trespassing, aggravated harassment, and countless drug, alcohol, vandalism, and endangerment charges and violations.

Efforts continue to rid the community of night time disturbances.
