The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made two roster moves Tuesday, signing wide receiver Ben Nelson and releasing defensive end Moe Thompson. Terms of Nelson’s deal were not disclosed. The 6-foot-3, 178-pound Nelson originally entered the NFL in 2003 as an undrafted free agent with the Vikings. Earlier this year, Nelson caught 94 passes for 1,405 yards and scored 26 touchdowns en route to earning Arena Football League rookie of the year honors.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will resume organized team activities this week at One Buccaneer Place. The Bucs are scheduled to hold their final three “voluntary” workouts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tampa Bay will conduct its three-day mandatory mini-camp from June 20-22.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Dewayne White will conduct a charity autograph signing at the Authentic Team Merchandise “It’s Bucs and Bulls Heaven” store in Tampa from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on June 15. To receive White’s autograph, Bucs fans must purchase a $10 ticket. All ticket proceeds will go to White’s favorite charity, Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay. A $10 in-store purchase is also required for this event. In addition to White signing autographs, popular Bucs fan Big Nasty will make an appearance at the signing as well.
