Headed by brothers Mitch and Andrew Greenblatt, Watchismo is the exclusive distributor of the strikingly modern LIP timepieces in the United States. Watchismo also deals in unusual vintage wristwatches and is home to The Watchismo Times Blog. Mitch is also a horological (watch & clock) contributor for Coolhunting.com.
Mitch founded Watchismo in 1998 as a retail website for his carefully curated selection of vintage watches, specializing in the space-age bravado of the fifties through the seventies. In 2006, Mitch began writing the influential watch blog, The Watchismo Times, quickly established as an authority in the watch community. Two years later, brother Andrew joined the team to support the distribution of LIP watches to some of the most exclusive stores in the world, Barneys New York, Museum of Modern Art, The Gugenheim Museum, Takashumaya, Moss and more.
We've been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Mens Vogue, GQ, Maxim, and the International Herald Tribune to name a few.
Mission: Curating only the most unique timepieces ever assembled at one store for a customer looking for something truly unusual and not worn by everyone.
Next, Mitch and Andrew are winding up for the genesis of their own creation, the first original Watchismo designed wristwatch.
