- Dr. Parks graduated from Davis and Elkins College with degrees in Nursing and Business Administration. She graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2004 with a D.D.S. degree (doctor of dental surgery). Dr. Parks pursued an intense two year pediatric dental residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital/Case School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, OH. During the residency program, she treated many children in-office and in the hospital setting. Advanced behavioral management techniques were also mastered during the two-year residency program. She rotated through ENT (Ears, Nose, and Throat) , ED (Emergency Department), and Anesthesia. Dr. Parks gained valuable experience on the craniofacial team working closely with special needs children . She also served as chief resident. Dr. Parks, originally from Eglon, WV, returned to Morgantown, WV in 2006 and planned the opening of a new pediatric dental practice.
