- My introduction to Australian Labradoodles was through my son and his wife. They were on a ski trip to Vail, CO. with some of their friends. One day, Dr. Rob Black came back to the house they had rented and told my son he had met “the most amazing dog” in the village. My son, who had the flu and was unable to go skiing the next day, called me in Florida and told me about this dog called a “Labradoodle” that came from Australia. He asked me to look into it for him.
