Phoenix Interfaith Counseling was started by a group of clergy in 1973 in response to an urgent and growing need for affordable mental health counseling services in Maricopa County. Although our roots are in the faith community and we recognize the spiritual needs of our clients, we are not affiliated with any denomination or faith group and the services we provide are based on a professional behavioral health model.
