Linverter powers White, Blue and UV LEDs from supplies of 0.8volt to 3volt. These LEDs normally need 3.2 - 4.5v to shine brightly. The linverter steps up the voltage to operate these LEDs from one or two 1.5 volt AAA, AA, C or D cells. Using Linverter, one and two cell lanterns can be upgraded to use white LED.
