- The purpose of the Association is, among other things, "to act for its membership in any business matters with the town officials; to pass rules and regulations having to do with protecting property against fire hazards; to dispose of garbage; to enhance the natural beauty of the Point; to cooperate with town officials in the matters of parking cars at the Point and policing of the Point; to secure the services of one or more Cottage Inspectors; and to perform any and all other acts, services, and functions which are not contrary to the laws of the State of Maine."
