I'm just a guy who likes taking care of himself. Growing up, I was healthy. Then somewhere along the way I stopped caring. I guess I relied too heavily on my youth and metabolism to keep myself healthy. Over the years, I put on some weight. My hair wasn't as healthy and my skin looked horrible. On top of that, I had bouts of acne, eczema and even a breakout of shingles! Talk about uncomfortable.

It wasn't until I started to be afraid to go see people that I started to notice I need to make a change. I would stay in rather than going out to have fun. I would wear baggier clothes whenever possible to hide my figure. Worst of all, I didn't like what I saw in the mirror every morning. I had dark cirlces, crows feet, dull, dry skin. My hair was thinning and looked years older than I really am. Something had to change!

The first part was cleaning up my dient. No more fast food, loads of sugar, GMO's and party foods. I switch to natural and organic foods exclusively. Lowering my carbs helped me drop water weight and then my metabolism really woke up. I was amazed to see how much better I felt eating primarily veggies and meats. I actually really enjoyed it. But my skin hadn't quite recovered. Lowering junk food certainly helped my acne and oily skin, but wasn't enough. I tried tons of cosmetics even though it isn't considered "manly" but I wanted to look good. Turns out, more and more men are interested in skin care.

I tried everything from grocery store cleansers and lotions to high end department store creams and washes. They were nice, but then I found out about the harsh chemicals in them. Did you know that major skin care brands use things like mineral oil, alcohol, gasoline byproducts and even things used in antifreeze to treat and heal your skin? Seriously!

That's what lead me to look into natural skin care. Products like Aloe Vera are known to heal, but alone isn't enough. Manuka Honey is strong enough to treat MRSA, the flesh eating bacteria, so figured it could help with my acne. Boy was I right. I found other products like MSM, Blue Green Algae, Shea Butter, etc. all have amazing benefits to the skin. After switching to organic and natural skin care, I've never looked better. I look years younger and most importantly, I got my confidence back.

I hope my experience can encourage you to go the organic and natural route and treat your skin properly.
