Creating an account on AboutUs

• allows you to edit pages
• helps to identify you as a unique member of the community
• give attribution to your work
• customize your preferences
• set your watchlist
• upload images
• use Influence Us
• and more.

Creating an account is easy!

• At the upper-right hand corner of every page, you'll find a link that says 'Sign Up!' - click this link.
• You should get a window that looks something like this:

Step-by-step

• Fill in:
  • your name
  • your e-mail
  • a password
  • what you see in the captcha (this shows that you are a person, not a machine)
• click Create account
