CafePress is a great operation. I have been a customer for years and never had a complaint. The quality of the printing is the best of any t-shirt operation. This is the largest, oldest and most-growth oriented and customer-friendly t-shirt company in the world. The quality of the items for sale, including all the shirts, is top-notch. I was so impressed by the entire operation which includes printing, advertising, secure credit card ordering online and fulfillment that I became a Premium shopkeeper. Overseas orders have been just great as well as in America. Shipping fees are as low as $3 bucks in America and reasonable overseas. The reputation of the company is the very best in the world and the review by Anonymous sounds like malicious slander. Anonymous refuses to sign their real name or post referenced reviews. Ignore the troll below...Anonymous sounds as simple-minded as their Forest Gump quote.*posted by RoyToots

Not as good as it could be.

'Unshakable reputation for sending out mediocre merchandise to its faithful customers.'

'Enfuriate clientale even more as they receive the same defective article over and over again. This practice is particularly unnerving to people that live overseas and can't afford the long distance phone calls to their service department, higher than normal shipping fees and duty fees.'

'Lack of quality control.'

'They managed to improve the printing process slightly but it was too little too late and hundreds of costumers left Cafepress to join the growing competition.'

Cafepress is a perfect example of a good idea poorly executed and poorly managed, it has quickly acquired an unshakable reputation for sending out very mediocre merchandise to its faithful customers. In the beginning Cafepress became popular by allowing the "average joe" to sell t-shirts online, however they failed to implement a good system of quality control and the end results were disastrous. They offer a 30-day money back guarantee which infuriates the clientele even more as they receive the same defective article over and over again. This practice is particularly unnerving to people that live overseas and can't afford the long distance phone calls to their service department, higher than normal shipping fees and duty fees.

By recently purchasing a series of very expensive printers, they made a failed attempt to print on dark t-shirts, Cafepress was hoping to crush the growing competition but they were defeated again by their lack of quality control. Sadly, the results were very disappointing, whites turned out grey and colors appeared dark and muddy, still they charged a hefty extra fee for this service. After constantly refining the process, they managed to improve the printing process slightly but it was too little too late and hundreds of costumers left Cafepress to join the growing competition.

It has been suggested that Cafepress management is concentrated more in going public than in making good quality products, and there is no evidence pointing to them improving their quality in the near future, quite to the contrary, they seem to have no interest in doing so. According to Alexa, their website has been losing a considerable amount of traffic over the span of at least the last eight months.

(Not true, they are constantly improving quality both in shirts and products which they have upgraded several times this year) quite to the contrary, they seem to have no interest in doing so. According to Alexa, their website has been losing a considerable amount of traffic over the span of at least the last eight months. Their shopkeeper numbers and number of designs have grown and consumers go directly to individual shops. Posted by IP 209.163.102.248 on August 11, 2007

They managed to improve the printing process slightly but it was too little too late and hundreds of costumers left Cafepress to join the growing competition.' This is an unverified quote. No proof of this.

This practice is particularly unnerving to people that live overseas and can't afford the long distance phone calls to their service department, higher than normal shipping fees ($6) and duty fees.

Sadly, the results were very disappointing, whites turned out grey and colors appeared dark and muddy, still they charged a hefty extra fee for this service. After constantly refining the process, they managed to improve the printing process big time and dark shirts are wildly popular. Posted by IP 209.163.102.160 on August 13, 2007
