The wonderful property known as Cackleberries and available at www.cackleberries.com was based on an original idea created by Joh Nichols. She unfortunately could not create any commercial success based on her concept and finally self-published two books. She has given away most of them and you can still find the odd copy in Liquidation World but her sales barely reached a dozen. As sad is this part of the story is, the rest is wonderful. After thinking about the project for over a decade, Joh met Ken Rolston, whose amazing talent put a face to the concept. Ken's art eventually attracted a huge amount of interest. Investors, animators, musicians, writers, artists and more became interested in the project. The concept had to be entirely rewritten and all the characters recreated. In deference to Joh's efforts some of the names of the characters were retained. Today's Cackleberries is a wonderful tribute to what can be accomplished when a talented team of people put their hearts and souls into a project. Watch for the animated feature film, television program and wonderful new line of toys hitting the market in 2007 and 2008.
