In the summer of 2006, B3 Computers went out of business after its founder, Mr. Bill Carr, and another officer, Mr. Fred Schlaffer, closed the doors and fled Gwinn, Michigan with the grant/loan money from the State of Michigan and Marquette country, business loans from First of Negaunee, as well as the assets that were used as collateral for the loans.
