AboutUs is a resource for small business owners and anything else with a website to promote.
Tools for Website Owners
We offer many resources to help business owners promote their websites:

—Carl Mueller's post "Why I Like AboutUs.org" |
- As the world's largest website directory, we have a page for almost every website in the world. As a wiki, those pages can easily be edited to add more information to help say more about that website. You can find the page about your website by searching for it (like example.com) at the top right. To edit, you just need to sign in (or sign up for a free account) and click a pencil on the page.
- We also follow links to good websites when people provide good information for AboutUs visitors on the site's page. If you've improved a site's page and want us to follow the links, email us at DoFollow@AboutUs.org.
- Our articles about online marketing and SEO offer tips for attracting new potential customers to your site. They're all written by experts in plain English. Click "Learn online marketing" above to find them.
Make it official on Facebook.
- The free Website Visibility Report shows website operators how their sites look to search engines and human visitors. The report offers guidance for making web pages work better for search and for people, and tells you how many pages of a website have been indexed by search engines and how a site ranks around the Web.
- To use the Website Visibility Report, go to the AboutUs page for any website. Get there by entering the website name - like MyWebsite.com - in the search bar at the top of any AboutUs page. Once you're at the page for the site, click "Home Page Analysis" or "Web Presence" in the left sidebar.
- New! Our new Site Report analyzes the things on a website that matter for search engine optimization (SEO) and tells you how to improve them to increase your website's visibility in search engines results. For $9.95 a month you can re-run the Site Report as many times as you like, and you can cancel your subscription any time you like.
- Questions about the Site Report? Email SiteReport@AboutUs.org or call 1.800.AboutUs and press 1.
