Hi. Some friends came down yesterday from Kansas. They missed the 54/61 west turn-off. Later, I showed them that turn-off. We were very near the 97 highway turnoff but I had yet to see the sign. All of a sudden, I saw the left green edge of a large sign and saw 2 partial "S"es. I yelled, "Turn here!" She did quickly. There was a tree that has that sign blocked off by at least 95%. This morning, I called Sand Springs police dept and told the officer. "You'll need to call the street dept." I called them and this man said, "We don't handle signs, we just work on streets. You need to talk to ODOT." He gave me the phone #. I called there and a lady said, "This is TULSA ODOT, you need SAND SPRINGS ODOT!" I called there and was told "We don't work on signs. We just work on highways!" She was telling me that I'd need to call someone else. I said, "Ma'am, you are the 4th person I've spoken to in the past 10 minutes and I'm just getting a run around. Then she said,"I'll call them!" "The bad thing is, did she REALLY call anyone else?" Can you please check into this? Thank you, Michele Carter
