Description
When the opportunity for Tammy Travis, a local pastry chef, presented itself to purchase the business where she worked, Tammy and her partner Sarah, came to Alternatives. Tammy says of her experience: "There was never a blink of an eye that we were starting a business together and that we were partners. We appreciate Alternatives' openness and equal treatment. There was no problem with joining our finances."
Alternatives Federal Credit Union is a Community Development Financial Institution, dedicated to building wealth and creating economic opportunity for underserved people and communities. The Credit Union is only one of five corporations that make up the Alternatives Group.
