Ashesi University is a subsidiary of Ashesi University Foundation, a non-profit, publicly supported US corporation based in Seattle, Washington. The Foundation's efforts are led by an experienced Board of Trustees and Advisory Board composed of academic and industry representatives from the US and Ghana who share a vision of establishing an institution that will train Africa's future leaders.
A well-qualified Board of Trustees, composed of individuals with experience in business, information technology, finance, and African studies, oversees the Ashesi University project.
Our advisors offer support, guidance and advice as we work to accomplish our mission. These advisors have distinguished careers and offer insight into the particular opportunities and pitfalls our operations face. Our advisors include US and Ghanaian professionals and academics, including faculty members at Harvard University, UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, New York University's Sloan School of Business, University of Washington, and Swarthmore College.
