(MIG) was formed through a series of strategic acquisitions. MIG is composed of two holding companies and three operating companies. The three operating companies are:
Combined, these three companies are licensed in all 50 states and offer a wide range of life and health insurance products through multiple distribution systems. Additionally, all three operating companies offer a range of reinsurance facilities. Since 1982, the companies have completed over 60 such reinsurance transactions.
(MLI) writes life, health and annuity policies in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Positioned primarily as a worksite carrier, Manhattan Life Insurance offers a full portfolio of supplemental life and health products.
