“The Noyan Tapan” weekly is one of the most important modes of “The Noyan Tapan” informative association. It was founded in 1993 and was published in English basicly for the international organizations in Armenia, for foreign diplomats, businessmen, and for tourists. During the past 15 years the newspaper strengthened its position in the informative field and as a result both the edition and the part of the advertisements became greater. Today the newspaper has its permanent subscribers. Gradually the number of subscribers is becoming more and more both in Armenia and abroad. The factor of the free sale came to prove that the newspaper is greatly demanded by the foreign guests.
Taking into consideration the proposals of the readers “The Noyan Tapan” company began to publish the French variant of the newspaper ("The Noyan Tapan" Essential"), which is considered to be a successful initiative too.
Since 2007 with the help of the Armenian Congress the Armenian variant began to be published.As it was planned the Armenian variant was mostly spread not only in Yerevan but also all over Armenia reaching even the farthest village of the country. The newspaper covers not only information concerning the whole country, but information about every religion and about the Armenian Diaspora as well.
