He studied photography at San Rafael High School and after graduation he continued studying photography at College of Marin. While in his first year of college, he started photographing seasonally with Jim Gillespie of California Classics and soon became head photographer. While working with Jim, he also worked with Paul Margolis at Hotshots Photography and then MVP Sports Pix in Petaluma. In addition to working with both photographers, he also went to work as a photographer with the Picture People in San Rafael. After six years of learning through experience and working for other photography companies, he decided to start his own business on January 1, 2006. Henley Photography is now located in San Rafael, California. The studio is located in Terra Linda at 4208 Redwood Highway, directly behind Eduardo's Restaurant. Trevor is a member of the Terra Linda Rotary Club, San Rafael Chamber of Commerce, and BNI "Professional Connections" Chapter. Trevor has had the opportunity to participate with a few different groups helping with volunteer missions all over the world. He has traveled with Rotaplast to Nagamangala, India, Terra Linda Interact to Peru, and Be2Live to Baja California. A recent change has come to Henley Photography. Well, she is not really new, Nikki Henley, Trevor's wife, has decided to jump in and become a partner in Henley Photography. Nikki has been behind the scenes here and there throughout the entire history of Henley Photography. She will be taking on Trevor's office work, newsletter, and some second shooting. She will also be helping jump start Henley Photography's 2nd home in Monterey. Nikki's photography background may be a surprise to some, as she is a 4th generation Weston. Her great grandfather was Edward Weston and she was born and raised in a photography family. Her mother, Cara Weston, is the first female Weston to take on photography as a profession (www.carawestonphotography.com). Nikki has been greatly inspired by her mother's work and some of it can be seen in our "Art" tab above. Nikki's passions do not only lie in photographic art, but also drawing and painting. She is inspired by her love of horses to create detailed charcoal drawings and abstract paintings of her equine subjects.
