Go-Kan-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate. The style was founded by Robert Sullivan in 1984 in Adelaide, South Australia – Australia. GKR is a non-contact karate, with a heavy emphasis on strong basics, kata (patterns) and kumite (sparring). Robert Sullivan has developed a strong sense of etiquette, loyalty and mutual respect that carries through to each instructor and student.
