About Our Website
Free Layouts.com was established in January 2000, and set out on one mission- to offer free website templates to website designers who were inexperienced, or just needed some inspiration for their designs. Since then, our database has grown to exceed 500 templates, with more and more templates submitted daily.

Some of us (read: me) have trouble getting inspired with our own Web sites, and templates can help us quit staring at a blank page. Each layout has a rating and the number of votes. After all, if only one person rated it a 10, it means less than if 100 people rated another layout an average of 8.7. Personally, I learn from examples, and playing with these templates is a great way to get more comfortable with HTML and Flash. There are also a handful of tutorials available. [Meryl]
Established four years ago, Free Layouts.com offers several hundred free html, CSS style sheets, or flash template pages. These templates range in both design and layout with the top templates grouped for easy viewing. Along with templates, Free Layouts.com also offers code generators for making topbars, navbars, tooltips, drop-down menus, and more. Articles and design tutorials abound, making Free Layouts.com a good place to go for selecting and designing a Web site. For the service they provide to Web Developers and the Internet community, Free Layouts.com gets an Editors' Choice Award for January 2004.
