In December 2005, evissaP, Inc. ("Passive" backwards), a California Corporation, purchased the assets of AVNET MTS' San Jose CA Cable Assembly Operation. Prior to asset purchase, evissaP supported AVNET MTS as a "private label" CM/ODM for cable assembllies and custom connectors. evissaP's San Jose CA facility builds 1st article cable assemblies, low volume production and is a US and Canadian distribution point for product built by evissaP's sister facility in China (PRC).
