Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. We seek to eliminate poverty housing from the greater Danbury area and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. In view of that vision, we mobilize the local community to provide responsible home ownership opportunities to low income familiesOur parent organization, Habitat for Humanity International, was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller, along with his wife, Linda.
