In 2007, Alison was appointed to the Town of Pound Ridge Ad-Hoc Committee for Sensible Airspace. As a member of this committee, Alison works to protect the environment and property values of Pound Ridge residents from the Airspace Redesign proposed by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Since October 2008, Alison has been leading a community effort aimed at protecting resident well water from pesticide contamination by the Pound Ridge Golf Course.
