Formed in the summer of 2006, BioBDC is a private corporation headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Company was formed after four years of collaboration with Prion Developmental Laboratories (PDL) and Abviva, the former of which developed RPTTM, the unique, patented and cost effective "Rapid Prion Test" for the detection "Mad Cow Disease" (BSE) in cattle, Scrapie in sheep and goats, and Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in deer and elk.
