The Santa Ana, CA-based site was launched by Hansup Yoon, a high school student. In less than two years after starting the site 60,000 members were active making more than 270,000 posts, all about Zune. The revenue model Yoon put in place earned him a cool $1,000 a month from Google Adsense and TribalFusion, both with tools that place keyword specific ads that are relevant to a Web site’s visitors.
On July 7, 2008, the site was purchased by [Crowdgather, Inc. http://www.crowdgather.com] for $62,000. At the time of the sale Hansup Yoon was a sophomore in high school.
