Zoobler actually began as Stovesdirect.com in 1996 It was started by two life long friends Thomas Olphie And Kevin Scott Dodson who saw a need on the new emerging internet for a purveyor of top quality heating stoves and fireplaces at discount pricing. Up until that moment the only place a consumer could purchase a wood, pellet or gas stove/appliance was at a local retailer and they would most certainly pay full retail. Tom had worked at his fathers coal and stove shop located in Shirley NY, way back in 1974. Scott Had been a salesman and also a chimney sweep. In 1983 they joined forces in business(s) and have remained the best of friends since. They have built Zoobler along with its 30+ employees into one of the largest web retailers of its kind and own 3 full warehouses and a retail showroom. All web development, videos, marketing and customer service is done in house by a team of long term employees. A side note: as a statement about the organization and how picky they are on the reputation they have built, no employee has ever quit working for these two reputable gentlemen. That means two things: they choose the right people and the people they choose love what they do.
