- What is FTA?
- FTA stands for Free Trade Area (Agreement). An area (agreement) between two or more nations that eliminates or significantly reduces tariffs and trade barriers, an area (agreement) which establishes unimpeded exchange and flow of goods and services between trading partners regardless of national borders. Such as NAFTA (include USA, Canada, Mexico); FTAA (include 34 America countries); CEFTA (Poland, Hungary, Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria); AFTA (include 10 countries East Union); European Union and Mexican Free Trade Area, China and East Union Free Trade Area etc.. More precisely speaking FTA is the unhindered flow of goods and services between countries, a name, economic policies given to parties or countries that are supporting in such trade.
