Alexis Mya Publishing was created in 1998 as a print directory company for military bases across the nation. In 2000, Alexis Mya Publishing phased out their print directories and added YourMilitary.com as the main information resource. We are now located in over 240 military markets nationwide and every military installation in the United States has its own community on YourMilitary.com.
Most military personnel and their families search online to find information about their new duty station and the local community they will be relocating to. YourMilitary.com was designed to provide this valuable information quickly and easily. Our goal is to help make relocation easier. The result is an informative online resource that connects military personnel and their families to local community information and advertising from the local businesses that support them.
The most popular feature on YourMilitary.com is the "Ask a Question" service. Currently YourMilitary.com is the only military support website answering questions within 24 hours from active duty military personnel, their families, veterans, retirees and civilians. We are very proud to provide this valuable service.
The main question military spouses used to ask us was about the employment opportunities for them at their new duty station. We saw this as an opportunity to help make their lives easier and we did this by forming an employment website in every military community nationwide. So now we connect employers and jobseekers in over 240 military markets. Employers post jobs for military spouse employees or active duty personnel who are seeking additional income.
