Mixed Martial Arts (M.M.A), began by challenging the different styles against each other: Karate, Boxing, Kick-Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Ju Jitsu, Judo, Thai Boxing, Wrestling, Submission Fighting and many others. It has now evolved into modern day M.M.A., with fighters realising that the true warrior must possess an all round knowledge of many disciplines. Therefore proving the philosophy – “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER”.
To develop this knowledge, we trained under several world-renowned fighters from Brazil, America, Holland and the UK, in particular a fighter named Mark Weir. Knowing Mark through our ‘traditional’ backgrounds, we watched his progress and transition from World Champion Kick-Boxer to World Class mixed martial artist. Mark Weir’s domination of the UK’s Mixed Martial Arts scene is proof in itself of the success of his scientifically based Range Fighting Programme.
Mark Weir has now joined XFUK. With XFUK’s motivation and Mark’s dedication, we aim to develop Mixed Martial Arts throughout the UK, supporting fighters from all backgrounds in their ultimate entry into the world arena.
