The World Tree is a symbol with meaning shared across the myriad cultures of the world, merging many ancient wisdoms. We sound like Loreena Mckennitt, enya, blackmores night with strong world rhythms. Gretchen's voice is similar to Annie Haslam, Loreena McKennit and Sarah Brightman. John's compositions are rock based with classical over tones. If you enjoy the moody blues, you'll like World tree Music. We take traditional folk songs and rework them for the modern ear. Lord byron's she walks in beauty is a favorite of Gretchen's to sing. We appeal to all religions as we respect the sacred in all beings. Pagan and wiccan traditions enjoy our music as well as the Christian Mystic. John's compositions are very filmic.
