If you're in high school or junior high school, and you've always wanted to be on the radio, we've got just the thing for you! This summer, WONC will again be holding our famed High School and Junior High School Radio Workshops, where you can learn the skills and techniques of radio broadcasting from the pros.
John Madormo, Assistant Professor of Broadcast Communications at North Central Collgee, graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1974 with a degree in broadcasting communications and advertising. He was hired out of NIU by WGN (720 AM in Chicago), where he bacame involved in almost all of the varied offerings of the respected full-service clear-channel powerhouse, from directing talk and music shows to writing promos, commercials, and public service announcments.
