Description
Winrock International India (WII) is a non-profit organization working in the areas of natural resource management, clean energy and climate change. WII works out of its headquarters in New Delhi and its project offices in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), Bhadohi (Uttar Pradesh) , Kawardha (Chhattisgarh) and Bangalore (Karnataka). Our mission is to "develop and implement solutions that balance the need for food, income and environmental quality."
Encourage and empower primary users of natural resources to sustainably manage the resources that they depend on using participatory approaches, and develop long-term strategies to adopt livelihoods of their choice,
WII works with a diverse set of partner institutions. Foremost among them is our affiliate, Winrock International, a global non-profit organization with headquarters in Arkansas, USA, and presence in over 60 countries around the world. In India, WII collaborates with other NGOs, private sector, donor agencies and the government to form competent teams of professionals to address contemporary developmental challenges.
