- About This Station
- The station is powered by a Davis weather Monitor II weather station, located in the West Point Meadows subdivision. The subdivision is on the North side of I-80 and just East of Oak Park avenue. This puts us in the unique position of the far Southwest corner of Cook county and the far Northeast corner of Will county, hence the station name. The data is collected every 5 seconds and the site is updated every 5 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge (installed 05/31/07) and a thermo-hydro sensor situated in optimal positions for highest accuracy possible.
