We sold to our friends, then went to Arts & Crafts shows all over the San Francisco Bay Area. Some of our fondest days are selling our wares on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley. The most fun and busiest days were during the wonderfully colorful Christmas Faire on Telegraph. You can still find some really great artwork there and of course, have some of great Blondies pizza. J-ME is still remembered on the Ave as Mrs. Claus. That was also in the days of when Rob (J-ME's son) would come help us. Everyone loved seeing Rob out there. He was just so cute!
A friend asked us to come out to Quartzsite, Arizona to sell our jewelry and beads. We decided to give it a try. We sold quite alot of our things and it was fun! There is no place on earth like Quartzsite! So many beads and rocks and other great things. Just a huge flea market of wonderful treasures.
One day after having a room full of so many beads, we decided to open a store. Our husbands kept saying "get rid of some of these beads!". The store was a success! We made many friends thru the years at our store. Wild Things had many various types of goodies (beads, stained glass items - which we also made, rocks, fossils, marbles, jewelry boxes, furs, leather and other great fun stuff!).
