wikiCancer was created to help people living with cancer or those supporting someone with a cancer diagnosis to connect with and contribute to a caring community.
You don't need to be a recognized authority to contribute -- the invitation to participate is extended to anyone who is in some manner coping with cancer. This site is guided by the principle that the best information on a subject as deeply emotional as cancer comes from those who have been or are currently dealing with its impact on their lives. Your very personal experiences are the key ingredient to building a vital forum for the benefit of current and future cancer patients and their families.
wikiCancer was launched in 2005, after its creators were inspired by their friend and colleague Marty Levin’s fight with multiple myeloma.
