Description
A native New Orleanean, Dr. Griffith grew up in Lakeview, attended Jesuit High School, and received his B.S. in Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. He completed a one-year internship at Metairie Small Animal Hospital after graduation, and Dr. Griffith opened Animal Care Center Veterinary Hospital in May of 1983.
He has two boys (the oldest is currently attending Louisiana State University), Lee and Alex. He has three cats: Morfius, Wisdom, and Koosh. His favorite pastimes include activities with his children, fishing, snow skiing, attending concerts, and traveling.
Dr. Griffith volunteers regularly at the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter and currently sits on the Jefferson Parish Shelter Board. He is a past president of the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association and former board member of the J.S.P.C.A.
