CHICAGO, Jan. 24, 2006--Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB) today announced that it agreed to affiliate 16 of its television stations with a new broadcast network, The CW, being launched by Warner Bros. Entertainment and CBS Corporation.
WCWN-TV, located in Albany, New York, launched operations in the Capital Region on September 6, 1999. Capital region's WB is Albany's affiliate for The Warner Bros. Television Network ("The WB") and Tribune Broadcasting.
